The real-life story of pro boxer Rocky Marciano, from his humble beginnings to his rise and climaxing in his match with legend Joe Lewis. The movie is done in a flashback, and Jon Favreau does a bang up job playing Rocky. This movie does a good job of showing the ups and downs of the boxing world as well. A must see for all fans of boxing movies, the fight scenes are some of the best I've ever scene. ***1/2 stars out of 5.
